CerealKilla 0 #1 February 12, 2004 I only have 10 or so jumps under my belt, but I am interested in buying a complete rig (I'm hooked). I would like to find a lender to finance a rig. Any suggestions would be appreciated Confuscious say: "It take many nail to make a baby crib...but only one screw to fill it."
freeflir29 0 #2 February 12, 2004 You'd have to put it on a credit card. You don't want to buy a rig right now anyway. Get 50 jumps or so and then buy it.
CerealKilla 0 #3 February 12, 2004 Thanks for the input, but credit cards compound interest. I would like to finance without the compounding My gear rental is as much as the darned lift ticket, so I can get many more jumps in if I own my own gear....just a thought. bobsled92 0 #4 February 12, 2004 According to your profile, you don't have a HOME Drop Zone, or a location. (Without info, I can only suggest the following: Some dropzones have very good shops and demo-to-own plans can be made. Square 1 & Square3(CrossKeys) have done this from what I have read from "their" sites. (The restriction of gear use limited to that DZ may be a part of the deal). RevJim 0 #5 February 12, 2004 If you're credit isn't totally shot, Mirage (http://www.miragesys.com) will finance anything from just a container to the whole damn assembled rig. Go to the website, check it out, shoot Kim an email.....It's your life, live it! I bought my first rig at 48 jumps. I now have almost 400 and I still have the same old container and I'm only on my second main and reserve. I put over 80 jumps on my first main and I have put about 250 so far on the second with no terribly immediate plans to downsize. It's lasted me this long because I waited until I was able to jump something (Main, container, and reserve wise) that would last a long time.
