kelel01 1 #1 February 14, 2004 Yesterday I went to the DZ for some skyjumps. Well, I get there and we're flying the SUPER KING AIR!!! We've had a porter and a caravan for the past two months, so this was fantastic news. And, we didn't have a full load all day, so we were all stretched out, jamming to the stereo, fucking with the tandems on board. AND, I did four jumps, and stood EVERY ONE OF THEM UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never before have I done that . . . although I did owe beer because I landed right in the middle of the taxiway. Oops. Oh, AND I wore my new freefly pants, and they remained clean and unharmed. Un-freakin-believable!!!! I have never been so happy in my life . . . it almost makes up for today sucking so much ass . . . kelel01 1 #4 February 14, 2004 Actually, they're black and silver-- I'm having some trouble coming up with the pic-- I know it's somewhere in one of my sent messages, but it doesn't appear to be saved on my computer. I'm still digging. Kelly

kelel01 1 #6 February 14, 2004 Ok, just found out that if you send a PM with an attachment, it doesn't save the attachment for you to go back to later. I guess I'll have to post it on Monday, b/c the pic is on my work computer. But the pants go perfectly with my new soft-touch metallic silver EVO freefly helmet!!!! benny 0 #7 February 14, 2004 Sounds like your day rocked Kel. I too had a wonderful Friday the 13th just a couple of hours north of you in our lovely otter. 7 person otter loads rock, ours doesn't have a stereo unfortunately. Never go to a DZ strip show. osuskydiver 0 #8 February 14, 2004 Glad someone is getting to jump. It is too cold up here in ohio Going through withdrawl symptoms here. Can't wait for april. If everyone would just make one jump for me and ESP me the feeling while in freefall, it would be much appericiated. By the time you read this you have already read it. peacefuljeffrey 0 #9 February 14, 2004 Wayyy cool, Kelly! Glad you had fun. I was out jumping too -- caught two rides and had a good time myself. "Which plane" never comes up, since all we fly is the Super Otter. I was wearing a borrowed RW suit (since I've yet to get myself one), and found out in a funny frustrating way that it is NOT appropriate for my sit-flying practice. All my other sit freefalls have been in shorts and t-shirt. The booties on this suit caught so much air that I couldn't do much more than "freak fly" (sitting butt-low). I did some tracking and a couple of loops and had some nice landings in our freshly-mowed circle. It was just a super plus to have the fun of skydiving on Friday the 13th. The last time I did that was in 1991, way before I really got into skydiving. I knew everything would be just fine. Kelly and I can't be the only ones who jumped on Friday. Who else did? --Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Hard line, hard line after hard line!"
jmpnkramer 0 #10 February 14, 2004 QuoteI did four jumps, and stood EVERY ONE OF THEM UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But did you finally get your "A"? That is the real Question. kelel01 1 #11 February 14, 2004 No, but I'm getting there. Someday, perhaps on my 80th birthday, that elusive A will find me. And I will find it, and we will have a joyous meeting. There will be champagne and flowers, and no shortage of kissing and romance. It'll be true love . . . until B comes along, and then A is out the door. jmpnkramer 0 #12 February 14, 2004 in case you did not know you have enough for a "B" right now. Laters, .The REAL KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER! "HESITATION CAUSES DEATH!!!" kelel01 1 #13 February 14, 2004 Yep, just two more accuracy landings for my A, 9 for my B. Done with water training and everything. I'm on my way . . . Kelly

There will be champagne and flowers, and no shortage of kissing and romance... I'll make you a deal: we'll get you those accuracies before we leave Moss Point, and I get to take A's place. Deal? if she says yes, how do I sabotage the B? hmmmmm..... ps - I'm bringing champagne anyway, so the rest is just icing. And good job on the stand ups. I still haven't gotten used to a higher elevation dz. It'll be good to get back to sea level. witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*
selbbub78 0 #16 February 15, 2004 wow, that's great about standing your landings. When I finally got the nerve to wear my FF suit, I got it all grassstained on the first jump. That's awesome that you did so well. Congrats!
