SpeedRacer 1 #26 March 29, 2003 Quote Hahaha...ok, maybe I don't want the bird named after me after all! Andrea Too late, Andrea!! you asked for it, you got it! The dove has gotten used to me going in & out the door under her nest & no longer flutters around in a frenzy everytime I do it. Now she just sits in her nest & watches me. Evidently she's realized I'm not going to do her any harm. So on Wednesday night I went into the dz.com pub and typed in: "Skymama no longer freaks out when I use the back door." And I don't know why, but everyone in the pub took it the wrong way. Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------

She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
SpeedRacer 1 #28 February 16, 2004 Here it is, February 2004. The mourning dove couple is back!! One of them landed on the transom. She flew off when I came out there. They hadn't even started to build a nest yet. So I put a couple of empty six packs of beer bottles up in the transom to block access. Now the two mourning doves are perched on the fence by my yard looking at me. Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------
