champu 1 #9 February 15, 2004 I had no trouble downloading the file directly. Being set up as a particular file type only helps the browser figure out what to do with it. You can always right-click->save as the media file itself and be sure to save it as a .wmv (as opposed to a .wmv.html) Also, are you sure it's New Found Glory and not Me First and the Gimme Gimmes? I tried to watch it.. blank in the little streaming windows then went to Documents and Settings\{ my profile name}\local settings\ temporary internet\ found the 12 MB freefly-kansas.wmv copied it to my desktop.. and there it showed up with an Internet explorer icon with a .htm extension. I changed it to wmv and voila I could watch it in media player. In the Internet Explorer window it did not play for me.. but after saving it.. it does.
