labrys 0 #1 January 27, 2004 Has anyone seen this ad? I hope this isn't a repost. I saw it at a restaurant on a TV with only closed-captioning but it looked pretty fun.Owned by Remi #?
ACMESkydiver 0 #2 January 27, 2004 Nope. I haven't. I'll look for it though. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
Blahr 0 #3 January 27, 2004 It could have been better. The stick of gum went in, though. Didnt seem to hurt it though
labrys 0 #4 January 27, 2004 What I saw looked like someone who's a skydiver had to have had input. A guy and a woman are on a plane and share a piece of gum..... the caption says "Go Go Go" and they guy jumps. A piece of gum in the womans pocket jumps out after him and appears to taunt him when he pulls..... then the gum burns into a tree and gets up shaking it's little gummy fist at the sky. The last caption says something close to "Extra.. the gum that never gives up" As always: Editing for spellingOwned by Remi #?

dgskydive 0 #6 January 27, 2004 I saw the Halls commercial. Ehh. Not much to it. I am still waiting to see the Verizon commercial they filmed out here last year. The ones with James Earl Jones. I have seen the water skiing and the one wear he dances. My friend Scott did the skydiving one and it has not appeared yet.Dom
AggieDave 6 #7 January 27, 2004 Yup, saw it. Nice commercial. It almost looks like it was done at 'Snore, but I've never been there and I only know the DZ from the air from pics/videos I've seen. That looked like a Beech 18 they jumped out of though, infact, it looked a lot like Eloy's old Beech. Does Elisnore have a Beech 18? Not a bad commercial, no one had a mal, no one burned in, nothing crazy, maybe it'll help spike some intrest in our sport.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." kris12 0 #8 January 27, 2004 I remember seeing the skydiving (skysurfing) James Earl Jones commerical. It was pretty awesome and on last year. I haven't seen it in a while, though I have seen the dancing one recently. kristen swooo #3 MB #3587 P.M.S. #66 "so let go, jump in...what're you waiting for? it's all right 'cause there's beauty in the breakdown"

NBC showed it a few times during Leno and Conan tonight. Nice to see the jumper was using a BOC and not some stupid rip-cord setup. Anyone else notice the jumper dropped both his knees when he went to pull? Pretty funny as a skydiver to think that a simple solo belly jump is marketing genius!_________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... heltzer 0 #16 February 16, 2004 Shot at Perris. Scott Smith played da Jones. He had to wear a black ski mask (which a little cgi replaced with Jones' face) and a body appliance to look heavier. The things we go thru to be on TV...
