sangiro 26 #1 February 17, 2004 Heya all, I've added a new forum for Skydivers with Disabilities. Thank you to Billy Vance for driving and pushing this through. I hope you can use this space to meet each other, share information, plan events and simply build some great friendships! This is a moderated forum. I expect that posts in this forum will in some way or form be related to skydiving and some form of disability.Safe swoops Sangiro

EricaH 0 #5 February 17, 2004 we're already in that forum, Talk Back... Skydiving General is for the non-disfunctional . There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. Only you can fix your fear. PMS #227 (just like the TV show)
Remster 30 #6 February 18, 2004 QuoteWhat about issues such as Diabetes??? My opinion doesnt count any more then anyone else on this, but diabetes does present complications: foot injuries can be devastating, infection risks from minor injuries... so yea, why not discuss issues like that? What do others think?Remster

Jennifer IIRC there has been quite a few blind tandems over the years, and recently there was a skydiver that lost his site and did an AFF style jump (he was coached in via radio)._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me....
