And you think I'm going to let you use my cutaway rig? NOT!

Your rig would be safe. I don't want any gear I'm jumping to get all sticky.

Yeah right, next you will say "trust me".

Honestly officer, I was trying to help the sheep over the fence!

Hey Tiffany,
Ed and I will probably keep our apartment in South Pasadena cause we like it. It takes me about 10-15 minutes to get to Burbank during rush hour. Anyway, since I don't teach in the summer, we'll probably be at the dropzone all the time staying in our camper. We also have the avid machine you could probably use in the apartment... Mayve we can work something out... think about it, we can talk more if you want.

Lew, how many rooms does this apt have?

oh yeah, and about southern cal... if you have money, it's a beautiful place to live. If you don't, it can be very rough. cost of living is very high. Standard of living is low. it's crowded. no, I mean, really crowded. it definately takes some getting used to.
would you want to live in LA or San Diego or near a dropzone? that will make a big difference in what to expect.

It's one bedroom. We have a queen bed in the bedroom and a futon in the living room.

Hahaha... too funny..
Wow! Skydivers never cease to amaze me! Yes, that possibility is definitely something I'd love to talk about. If (When, rather, for positive thinking!) I get the internship, it should last anywhere from 8-10 weeks, and I believe it'll start mid to late May, maybe even early June. Let me know when a good time is, and perhaps we can get together for lunch or something, or even just chat on the phone about this.
Also I might be in Elsinore sooner than I think. I'm very seriously considering taking out a loan to cover AFF through the license just to get this started. lol!
I'm so bad.

QuoteFuck it, come to TX, we don't really have a season persay, although during the winter we sometimes have clouds.
Tell me that wasn't 3 inches of snow on the ground saturday morning

I heard 5" in Whitewright. In the high performance LZ, DZ Staff built an igloo capable of holding 7 beer drinkin' jumpers in it... even had a heater in the middle...
but today was quite nice. Warm even. 4 jumps.

Oh, you might want to consider the Shark as one of your Level 1 JMs.
Then again, you may be stuck with me if I'm teaching the FJC.

I'm still trying to decide if you're on my cool list or not. First you send me a pm full of encouragement after my tandem and tell me to be sure to say hi the next time I'm out, then I come out for the burnout and say hi and you don't remember me! Sheesh!

It's a guy thing.... memory loss, short term RAM loss, etc.

Actually, I felt embarrassed because we were so busy that day and didn't have much time to breif/debreif my AFF jumps. Sorry!
