Tinkerbelle 5 #20 February 19, 2004 I went to Dallas and was only supposed to be there a couple days too! I didn't leave for another 7 months! Get out while you still can! Loys of nifty people out at Skydive Dallas though. I made more real friends there than I have anywhere else! And believe it or not, still now where ever I go I run into Dallas people, and they always remember you with fondness and open arms, & welcome you into their home and their trailers more readily than anyone else, especially Johnny Appleseed and his beautiful, fabulous, warm, welcoming wife, who always has a table full of fabulous food prepared for everyone! hookitt 1 #22 February 19, 2004 That was funny. Tis true about thekind folks of Texas welcoming us wayward souls into thier homes. I won't be jumping my skydiving rig at all during the week and depending on how it goes I may drive down to Houston for the weekend depending on my work load. I'd stay here for 7 months. People are really nice here. It took some getting used to. When I showed up to work, I had such a nice welcome, I was almost suspicious and wondered what the catch was.
