hmatousek 0 #1 February 20, 2004 Last night I was grading a writing assignment that I gave to my fifth graders. They are learning English and are not grammatically correct. However the meaning behind this paper nearly left me thinking what an impact kids have on everyone so I decided to share... Written by Margarito (an eleven year old in my fifth grade class) In the future I am going to be in the Air Force. The reason I want to be in the Air Force is because you are fighting for your country and defending your people. Another reason I want to be in the Air Force is becuase it it very cool . I like the Air Force because if you don't have money to go to college they pay for it. You get to go to different countries and defend yours. And you are like a hero. Thought there were some powerful statements and that it may make some of you smile, especially those of you who are in the services. Hope so. Antithesis 0 #4 February 20, 2004 Hmm I'm suprised that the 11 yr old left out the part about what she would do with the guns in foreign countries. I travel the land, Work in the ocean, Play in the sky
