DJL 235 #6 February 19, 2004 Why those colors? They seem a bit painful. But also, I've been staring at this screen for 12 hours now, so..."I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
champu 1 #7 February 19, 2004 I think there's some kinda rule somewhere that 7-cell canopies have to be symmetrical
cruzlite 0 #8 February 19, 2004 My tri 190 has the same colors in it ... its the 5.0 (Aerodyne's new zp)... so the colors in this jpg may be closer to 'actual'... You can open in PS / use the clone stamp tool to move the colors around...then save as a copy in jpg (small file & crop [if need be] to post) Some what tedious but more accurate color... (will post example by week end) D edit; After 1 hr I am not having much luck, will try again later, or pm. edit II; Your Green is not the same as mine ( is yours neon?) perhaps you could create an accurate palette by scanning swatches? (I've lost track of mine)

Treejumps 0 #10 February 19, 2004 Me thinks I detect a Rastaman with those colors. If this is the case try the gold instead of yellow. It seems to work better in that sceme.

It allows people above me to know what direction canopy is heading ....good tip adam thanks truly wise. As for you turtle i'm a fat kid that has made about 20 jumps on the pd 210. Of those jumps i tried different flare tech. of which i had similar results each and every time. they were ankle pounding knee shattering no lift landings. That being said i'm a little more partial to a ZP's as apposed to f111's. Granted the pd 210 i was jumping you could sneeze through. Having been into extreme sports my whole life my knees need all the help they can get. Not saying a pd isn't a good canopy just not for me. To each his own and all that. QuoteQuoteIt allows people above me to know what direction canopy is heading They can figure it out pretty quick regardless. Option 1: "Hmm, that canopy isn't moving very fast relative to me." Option 2: "Hmm, that canopy appears to be moving 40 mph across the ground." Option 2b: "Hey, why is his pilot chute sticking straight out in front of his leading edge?" good point frog.. but sometimes every little bit helps if i can send up flares to help keep us all safe and jumpin ...im gonna go for it.._________________________________________ i used to do alot of things ....skydiving wont be one of them :)

cruzlite 0 #24 February 21, 2004 This is what I meant by matching panels... didn't bother to change files, so quality sucks, but I think you get the idea... ( a little shakey today ) lu7k D
