sdgregory 0 #4 February 22, 2004 What is it about farting and skydiving? I have been on very few loads where someone did not let one go. Does it have anything to do with the decreasing pressure at altitude? The S&TA actually said "That was very unfreindly" one time. It was hysterical. The only part that sucked is that it always came from an area around me. She blamed me! I was not happy. Nothing like getting blamed for someone elses funk. I have it narrowed down to two individuals and one day I will get even.

Lee03 0 #6 February 22, 2004 Yep, you got it. The pressure is the thing. Same here, I've been on very few loads that someone hasn't farted, usually it's more that one time that it happens per load, multiple farts! And they are usually bad enough to gag a maggot! I, personally have not had the problem so far, maybe because I'm a pilot, and maybe more use to the pressure changes, but I will say this, hopefully, for the sake of everyone on the plane, the day that I have the problem of farting on the plane, well all I can say is, God help the people on the plane. I was a legend in the Marine Corps, could clear out GP tents, Quansent huts and even entire buildings with a single blast! So, pray that, that day never comes! -------- To put your life in danger from time to time ... breeds a saneness in dealing with day-to-day trivialities. --Nevil Shute, Slide Rule
