RevJim 0 #7 February 23, 2004 Some may say they can get it to you..... I wouldn't, even if I was your neighbor. As I was taught, and still am being taught, never give a definate time. We really have no idea what we may find once we open that rig. This goes doubly true for a person's rig we have never seen before. "It's wed, I need it by Fri night" "No prob" Then we open it up to find an out of date CYPRES. A reserve with a bad stitch. A freebag/PC with a weak spring. A reserve that's due for porosity testing, and fails. Ditto with pull testing. ect ect ect This is your LAST CHANCE. Don't rush it. Plan ahead people, please. Just because your repack is due, say, Feb 20th doesn't mean you can't have it done Jan 31st. This way it can be done by a rigger that knows your gear. Well. Very well. Inside and out. My old schedule got broken with the move, and that's why this one snuck up on me.
