sunnydee123 0 #1 February 24, 2004 Well we left warm, bright and sunny Florida on 2/19 and headed into cold, cloudy and damp California. Woke up Friday and headed optimistically to Perris and didn't let the clouds bother us. They were flying so we took what we could get (about 8,000 feet). Did a few more short loads while they were running, saw some familiar faces, met some new pals and had fun. Saturday things were just about as ugly weather wise but I started the day with a cool jump with Mike Swanson, Alaska Jon and my guy which made MY trip worth it. I was in the air with world champs and they turned points on me from 7,500 . I did get to altitude ONCE during the trip and did a solo while my guy was dirt diving the first big way camp jump ). Despite the weather, the big way camp put up 4 amazing jumps, most from about 7,500 feet and many times in rain. The 16 who played did AWESOME (got video and pictures to prove it). I can only imagine what they could have accomplished with a clear blue sky and altitude Sunday I saw more blue and felt how warm the California sun could actually be but the winds were KICKEN'.....so said goodbye to the gang and took a drive to Elsinore, knowing it was gonna be a "at least we got to see it" visit. Glad I did - got a good vibe from the time I drove up. Would like to see Elsinore in action sometime. So although weather did not cooperate completely (I heard it never rains in California) and it was a hell of a lot of non-jumpiung flying time, it was well worth the visit!!!! Will add a few pictures after lunch... Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

sunnydee123 0 #3 February 24, 2004 Free float exit.....everyone chased me . I was in a sit, everyone else on head . Everyone to feet with one more light hand grip, then I geeked Alaska right before breakoff. I was happy with 2 points from 7,500 feet Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...
