Anyone in the Tempe/Phoenix area that could give me the name of a Florist?

Has anyone ordered from ProFlowers.com before or any other online florist?

My Daughter-in-Law's father passed away yesterday and I need a local florist.

I've used GiftBaskets.com I like sending something just a little different then flowers. When Jack died, there were so many flowers in my house that it depressed me. Check the site out, right now they are offering free shipping.

I sent flower through 1800 also ( i think)
had no problems.

either they change the website or I used someone else but I googled 1800 flowers when I searched.

Yep - I survive off of online florists.

I like www.1800flowers.com

I don't recommend www.cheapflowers.com I had trouble with them.

I have never tried proflowers.com

If sending candy, try www.herseygifts.com I have ordered from them several times. And my most favorite www.fannymay.com is in the hurt box, so don't look there for now. Sounds funny to send candy in memory of someone. But I got a huge positive response when I have on two occasions. I guess you need to know the family well enough to know how that might be received.

FTD or ProFlowers.

I would never use 800Flowers ever again - they goofed up on me two times in a row, and if you do a search online you will see there are numerous complaints and some BBB complaints on them as well.

Thanks for all the advice. I had looked around at Proflowers.com already and will check out the other sites. GiftBasket.com sounds interesting, I will check that out as well, thanks for that tip.

I have ordered online flowers before but went through a local florist's website in the area, so I was hoping someone would respond from the Phoenix area. I also haven't heard from my son, I'm sure he might be able to give me a florists name from the Tempe/Phoenix area.

I second that. They TOTALLY messed up an order that I placed and then were very rude to me when I called about it.

On the other hand, I've received bouquets from 1-800-PROFLOWERS on two different occasions and they were by far the freshest flowers I've ever received. Also, the arrangements were gorgeous!
