Muenkel 0 #127 February 24, 2004 Hi Tinkerbelle, This is not a flame, but some friendly advice from someone who has been here a while. Do yourself a favor and read the forum rules. Also, realize this is a privately owned website by Sangiro. If you want to play, it's by his rules. If not, everyone is free to go elsewhere. The 7 posts you made in a row in a 2 hour period last night could have been condensed to just one post. When you do that, people have a tendency to just skip over what you have to say. quade 4 #135 February 24, 2004 OK, Ok, ok. First off, let's get ONE thing straight -- shall we? Pixies and fairies are two different things altogether. Without question, Tinker Bell (the character from J.M Barrie's stories), is a fairy dispite what the evil rewriters of history at Disney may have told you. I can only assume therefore that Tinkerbelle, must also be a fairy and not a pixie. Therefore, it is in my humble opinion that there is and always will be a small conflict between Betsy, The Porno Pixie, and Tinkerbelle. This, of course would be the natural state of affairs and nothing more than the normal in-fighting among the super natural creatures of mythology. Both exist for I have met them with my own two eyes.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

caress 0 #145 February 24, 2004 Then why did Peter Pan call it " Pixie dust" when he sprinkled it on the kids? I'm so confused now, Quade, you have burst my childhood bubbleWAAAAAAA if there was a fire, my tears put it out......--Caress I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right. quade 4 #147 February 24, 2004 Quote Then why did Peter Pan call it " Pixie dust" when he sprinkled it on the kids? Revisionist history courtesy the good folks at Disney. Peter Pan, in the stories by J.M. Barrie, the original author, calls it "fairy dust". Again, I refer you to the original. Disney changed a few key items in the story -- why? Who knows. There is speculation he didn't like the term fairy because of its other connotation. I also find it interesting that he changed the poison into a time bomb. There is speculation that this was done based on cold war fears of nuclear war, but I think that's really odd change to include in (what most people consider to be) a children's story.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
