What was (or will be) your wedding song?

kinky ;)

Kinky? Nah, I was just figuring you two could make a movie or somethin to fund/finance your honeymoon.

With a plot like that, you're bound to make some dough.

Or get deported.

I was watching "American Wedding" the other day, and noticed their wedding song was "Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison. I thought it was a good choice, and since then it's had me wondering about wedding songs.

The last wedding I went to the song was "Since I Fell For You" by Lenny Welch.

So... what was yours, or what would you want yours to be if and when you get married?

Remember "Hee-Haw"?

I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama

We had 2, one I chose for him, and one he chose for me.

For him, I picked 'Battle Hymn of Love' by Kathy Mattaea (sp?)
For me, he chose 'Lady' by Kenny Rogers.

Our last dance of the night was to 'Perhaps Love' by Placidio Domingo.

The best choice, though, was the father and bride dance. It was 'Whistling Gypsy', the lullaby my daddy sang and whistled to me when I was wee. I made my daddy cry. :)

I would have to say that in the background "Viva Las Vegas" was playing if only as a general theam. There was no misic that I can remember from the wedding:

The short version: at about 2am in front of a Bar in Seattle after New Years eve party decided "what the hell lets get married!". Went home to pack and get a couple of ZZZ's then to the airport and got a flight to vegas (talk about last minute), next got a hotel on the strip, found a chappel in the phone book, went to the court house for a marriage license, and said I Do's at the Chappel. Then to a Steak and Lobster dinner! Totaled a whopping sub 20-hour engagment time.

Continued having fun in a honeymoon mode for 3 more days. Hell even made a skydive while we were down there. Believe it or not we really did not gamble much, but I guess the whole trip was a gamble

Oh Yeah, Family found out after we got back from the trip :P

I vote for "Star".

:D It still amazes me how many skydivers have not seen this movie and have no freakin clue what you are talking about when you reference something like this.:D:D:D

Ok, well will someone please tell me if I should be offended? Or what movie I need to rent to find out?

Kelly

"Cutaway" had the main female role named Star. She could do RW and Head Down and was a tandem master, I think did some CrW and even won a national competition in a really messed up variation of speed star.

But her spotting abilities really, really sucked from what I could see.

Could be worse, at least this is a "jack of all trades" type of skydiver.....
