Nightingale 0 #1 February 25, 2004 I checked my email on someone else's computer. The email program will sometimes "cookie" the computer to remember you. I don't want this person in my email or dz.com account. Will changing my password make the cookie on their computer not work?

If you change it on the websites themselves, that password will no longer be valid.

Nightingale 0 #6 February 25, 2004 but that would mean I would have to get back to that computer to delete the cookies, which isn't an option.
flyangel2 2 #7 February 26, 2004 Just change your password on the computer you're on right now. New password, no problem. souleh 0 #8 February 26, 2004 If you checked the 'remember me' box on the login page, then yes, they would be able to access it, and yes changing the password should solve it. If you didn't do that, then as soon as the browser is closed, all cookies for the site should be cleared, so there are no problems.
