But mind your grammar and your manners when you're interviewing, and knock 'em dead. Lotsa vibes, Ed. Clownburner 0 #6 February 23, 2004 Have you taken the NR-EMT Basic test yet? They may require that. It's not very hard if you've done the training to get your cert already...7CP#1 | BTR#2 | Payaso en fuego Rodriguez "I want hot chicks in my boobies!"- McBeth

SeaKev 0 #12 February 23, 2004 If you're fresh out of the class, you'll be fine on the book and class skills. Just keep in mind that your patient is a customer and treat them as such. You will spend more one on one with a patient than anybody else. Good luck.
skipro101 0 #13 February 23, 2004 I took the EMT-B test 2 years ago. If you are really worried about it, go buy a National Registry test review book at borders. It will review just about everything you need to know. good luck

popeyefireman 0 #21 February 26, 2004 Geez, if you like a EMT uniform, how do ya feel about a Paramedic/Firefighter. Ed, I am sure you did fine, EMT's are always needed it seems. I would really suggest going and getting you National cirt. It open many doors as far as other agencies and even other states. I hope you got it. Now when you test for you first fire deptarment.......its a whole different kind of butterfly in your stomach. Adam "I Yam what I Yam" I am not afriad to die, only to die without living. flyangel2 2 #22 February 26, 2004 QuoteGeez, if you like a EMT uniform, how do ya feel about a Paramedic/Firefighter. Funny you should mention that. My office is in the same building where the training for the firefighting school is at on the college. Classes have started. I'm making sure my office door stays open cause some of those poor guys get lost the first few days I do have my camera here, but I don't want to look like a stalker the first few days. Edited cause I can't type, the guys are heading out the door for their lunchMay your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.
