happythoughts 0 #1 February 27, 2004 There is another thread about gay marriage. The problem being all the legal rights that marriage confers on the people. An unmarried person cannot sign a medical consent form unless they have another specific document that oks it. You don't share credit histories or get widow/widower benefits through social security and pension plans. So why is it legal to sue the unmarried person for a portion of their property?
