Brian425 0 #1 February 29, 2004 I bought my canopy yesterday. It's a safire 189 with about 500 jumps on it. It is getting a brand new line set this week and it should be ready to jump soon!!! No more jumping the student rigs or rented gear. I have my own rig now!!! It's red and black and the wingloading will be roughly .9 (I weigh about 170 to 175 with gear). And yes I bought beer. skybytch 273 #2 February 29, 2004 Safire 2 or Safire 1? If it's an original Safire, it's actually closer to 175 sq ft (the original Safire was measured differently than they are now). Don't believe the hype......when you get the skills you'll be able to rip some nice swoops on it. I'll have to post up some video of a FAT swoop I ripped on my Stiletto yesterday. Less than a 180 turn (Cause I didn't have the alti left after a longish spot and chasing Aviatrr) 10-15+ MPH winds loaded at 1.25-1.3. 80+ feet in toe dragging range and I even slid it to a stop.
