Sept 11 Good day for Tandems?

Might be having a boogie on Sept 11 2004. You don't make money on the fun jumpers, we will be relying on Tandems for that weekend.
Are potiental Tandems scared of this day?
Yes or NO?

As a tandem queen I would not be afraid at all to do tandems on this day. I have no fear of terrorists hijacking the King Air.

Yes, more discussions in this forum. Just looking for the best results. I think it would be dangerous to have a boogie and depend on tandems that might show up. In my situation, I have to have the tandems on that weekend NOT to lose money.
That's how I see it right now!

That is a very good point...hadn't really thought of that. Man that would suck, I was hoping to jump that weekend, well, I hope to jump every weekend.

you may be able to get fun jumpers to travel to moab for a boogy, but I doubt many tandems would be willing to travel that far to make a jump. That said I also don't think that the local population would be that opposed to flying on sept 11.
I may whant to come down there around that time, but I don't know if I coul'd get anyone to come that wanted to do a tandem.

Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.

They will be here no matter what. THey will be coming to do some mt. biking, rock climbing, white water rafting, etc. I will be bringing some in for the boogie but most will already be here. That's what Moab is about, it's the adventure capital of the world!!
