Deuce 1 #1 March 1, 2004 "How drunk were you?" "Solo karaoke drunk" "Oh my god. You OK now?" Just about all of Byron DZ went out to dinner Saturday. Went to a local pub and they had kid karaoke. So we go out on the patio for drinks and then my kids get me doing karaoke, then the drinks kick in and I'm doing karaoke with the DZM (I was the Spanish guy and he was doing Willy) I had to go home at 10 cause we had the kids, but they apparently closed the place. When you're doing karaoke by yourself, you are the most drunk.
flyangel2 2 #2 March 1, 2004 Well let's hope that you get that way while in Florida next month, so I can get video of it.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey
Deuce 1 #3 March 1, 2004 OK, you just discovered another depth of drunkeness. That would be Solo-karaoke-on-video drunk. The fun goes right out of it when confronted with evidence while sober.
Girlfalldown 0 #4 March 1, 2004 Visions of you singing "La Bamba" go through my head. Thanks for teaching me how to two step ! We left Pee Wees around 12 and went to Bongustos. That's when things got really interesting. I vaguely remember begging someone to take me back to the dropzone for fear that I wouldn't be able to stand up if I stayed much longer. I was trying to pawn Joel and Justin off on the 3 girls in the corner that were going through my jacket... long story. My liver hurts. -------------- (Do not, I repeat DO NOT, take my posts seriously.)
skyesspot 0 #5 March 1, 2004 Next time you need call me so Gary and I can join in on the fun. Oh wait, nevermind, you won't need to now that I'll be out there more often. Life is too short. Don't sweat the small stuff.
katiebear21 0 #6 March 1, 2004 I'd like to watch you sing drunk karaoke wearing your full camera setup taking pictures of the audience and their horrified facial expressions! Katie Get your PMS glass necklace here
Deuce 1 #7 March 1, 2004 Argh. Like I said, I want no photographic evidence. Right now I remember having a blast with a ton of my friends. If there was video or pictures those memories would be dashed. Yo no soy marinero.....
NoShitThereIWas 0 #8 March 1, 2004 "Solo Karaoke Drunk". Enough said. Back in the day (before Dakota), some friends and I would regularly go to this Tiki Bar with Polynesian food in Santa Monica. They also had Karaoke and those BIG GIANT clam shells filled with alcohol, super long straws for at least 2 people and fruit, fire, the works. Occassionally, we'd sit in these cabana booths and get super toasted and go up and sing Karaoke. Yep, sometimes it was good and sometimes it was bad, you kind of had to be there to know. Thursday was "go and watch drunk Karaoke people sing" night. Some nights were REALLY entertaining. Good times.Roy Bacon: "Elvises, light your fires." Sting: "Be yourself no matter what they say."
