Tony Geckle ordered them to stop, but instead the intruders ran towards him. Geckle shot all three burglars killing one of them. The grand jury heard the case, and declined to indict Geckle for any wrongdoing. That a lawyer would even take this case is why I have such disdain for the profession and it gives honest lawyers (is that an oxymoron?) a bad name. The Geckle family should sue the burglar's family for not teaching him better. I allege that had the parents done their job and the wife been more effective in her duties and the son gotten a job, maybe this guy would not have become a burglar.
