chaoskitty 0 #1 March 2, 2004 WHY???? .. do people insist on coming to work when theyre sick?? One of my co-workers had walking pneumonia last week, and would not go home! Now I am listening to a chorus of coughing throughout the cube farm, and I'm having some sinus and earache issues myself. Everyone is feeling yucky and acting cranky (myself included). LOVELY working environment... someone go pull the fire alarm or something..
pilotdave 0 #2 March 2, 2004 Yeah, seriously. Yesterday the guy I share a cubicle with (yes, I'm THAT high on the food chain) came in and told me he has the flu again. The last time he had the flu, he went to the ER and was told that he had the worst case they had seen all year. And yet the second he felt a little better, he was back at work. This time I kept telling him I didn't wanna be around him but he didn't seem to care. Dave
champu 1 #3 March 2, 2004 The worst part is that there is virtually no one on the level that we're at that can't miss a day of work to be sick. It's not as though they're buttressing the company against total failure at every waking moment of their life. Just start wearing this shirt around them. chaoskitty 0 #4 March 2, 2004 We can also do about 60% of our work from home, if neccessary. I would say that flu, and walking pneumonia are good enough reasons to work from home. Or just stay in the bed! Morons.
DShiznit 0 #5 March 2, 2004 I don't have an excuse, I have my own office with a door and don't have to see anyone all day long.

chaoskitty 0 #8 March 2, 2004 At least you can enjoy your freebirds burrito in peace and quiet. I've had freebirds on the brain since your post earlier... and I wont be back in Austin til Memorial day weekend.
