GARYC24 3 #1 March 3, 2004 I don't have one! I voted yesterday..I thought someting was wrong..I only got 1 ballot..just Props and county supervisor to vote for.. I called Clerk/Recorder office..and found out i was registered as Non-Partisian! I had no idea I was registered this way! So, Non-Partisian do not get to vote for assemblyman, congress, etc? Why? GARYC24 3 #3 March 3, 2004 Yeah..it's beginning to make sense now! BUT, i honestly can't remember when or why I check the box for Non-Partisian.. I must have been drunk outside a grocery store or something! hahaha So,correct me if I'm wrong..it's like this: You enter a contest..they want your team name. You say: we don't have a team name They say: you got to have a team name or you can't play the game! Oh, well..it be okay new registration is being sent out.. Rainbo 0 #4 March 3, 2004 You got it!!! Being a Libertarian it irks me that we can not even put our team on the ballot for local elections. They have a rule that says your team had to be on the last ballot, or gather 3 times the number of signatures on a petition as a regitered D or R. Then the big 2 parties challenge our signatures until after the filing deadline for printing ballots effectivley blocking our participation in the political process.
