Deuce 1 #1 March 3, 2004 I designed a web page! Hahar! PullTime.net I was all proud, and I shared it with my bud Iwan, and he said to take all the "coming soon" buttons off or put some stuff there. Back to square one. (Kind of a tough love kind of guy, but I did it anyway. ) My boogie video preview is there for you to download ("It's too big, JP, and too high a quality" ) I've also linked some of my most used sites. None of the political ones. So if you missed out on downloading the video preview, have at it. I'll be adding to it all the time. Beer at Byron. Again. Aviatrr 0 #2 March 3, 2004 How can I download the preview? When I click on Download, it just loads it into Windows Media Player..but it stops occasionally to buffer.. Mike Edit: and it doesn't give me the option to save it when I right click
PhreeZone 20 #3 March 3, 2004 Right click, Save As.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
Aviatrr 0 #4 March 3, 2004 When I right click, I get this menu with zoom in, zoom out, quality, about macromedia flash player 7, etc....but no Save As.. Mike

CanuckInUSA 0 #7 March 3, 2004 Not that I'm trying to hijack this thread, but what happens when you press my here button? If you get a popup window that asks if you want to save my preview (which you should if you haven't seen it yet, you're even in it, although only briefly). But if that doesn't happen, then you must have a different application on your computer associated with the WMV files. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
Deuce 1 #8 March 3, 2004 Geez, dude, good question. I think once it's loaded fully into WMplayer you can save it then. I'll try that. Akward, though, huh? I'll work on it. JP

That one let me save it after right clicking...actually, it's downloading now...at a nice speed, I might add.. I dunno if I've seen it or not yet...I've seen one you did, but not sure if I've seen this one.. Mike
CanuckInUSA 0 #10 March 3, 2004 If you had to rick click it in order to save it, your program associations are likely pointing to some other application for the WMV files. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
Nutz 0 #11 March 4, 2004 QuoteWhen I right click, I get this menu with zoom in, zoom out, quality, about macromedia flash player 7, etc....but no Save As.. Mike Highlight it, don't double click on it, if you double click it will start downloading, anyway, highlight it and then right click and you should have the "save as" option. Edit: I see what you mean now. "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"

Deuce 1 #13 March 4, 2004 I put the site together with Dreamweaver. Anybody know off hand what kind of object I'm supposed to use so that the video downloads the traditional way?
indyz 1 #14 March 4, 2004 QuoteI put the site together with Dreamweaver. OK, then fill in the title box (it's right at the top of the edit window) so that your page's title is something other than "Untitled Document." QuoteAnybody know off hand what kind of object I'm supposed to use so that the video downloads the traditional way? "application/octet-stream"

Aviatrr 0 #16 March 4, 2004 Well, I was able to save it after letting it load and watch it(with several pauses for buffering, for some reason) by going to the "File" menu in WMP then "Save Media As"....then the only problem was it was an HTML page(not a .WMV extension), so I had to rename it to a WMV...then all was cool..
