you saw one of these;)

I scored a mint condition $500 bill check it out.
they stopped making them in 1934.
yes its real I got it from a financial insitiution.(name withheld) a friend got me the hook up.(NAME WITHHELD);)


they say they are pretty expensive in the collectors market but I'm holdin onto it. (in a frame, safe place etc)

Its a pretty cool novelty item....


I KNOW I KNOW...that would buy A bunch of jump tickets:ph34r:

yea but I got a NICE rig now! LOL

I am kinda ina good spot as the cash in concerned for now. not that I really want to tie up 500 but its really rare to have that opp and at the time i can afford it;)

i understand.. that's cool dude..... my dada has a 10930's dolar bill that was printed before thy went away from the gold standard.... it says on it it is god for one doolar and can be redemed fot silver if wanted... pretty cool stuff......

remind me next time i impose on your dwelling to take a picture frame home with me.... hehehehe

Ohhhh... rare paper money!

The silver certificates were common in circulation up through about the mid 1960's. I used to take those dollar bills to the bank and exchange them for Morgan silver dollars.

Here's a Republic of Texas $50 bill, hand serial-numbered and signed, dated 1839:
