Universal Truths: ideas needed!

What are some "universal truths" about seasonal skydiving and skydivers?

Some examples:

-Guys/girls dump the whuffo SOs they have during the winter to hang out on the dz all weekend.

-Guys get new girlfriend in summer so they have place to live.

-There is no more 'exciting' day on a dz than the first day a bunch of people get in the air together after taking the winter off.

Try to be as un-PC as possible - it's more fun that way!

* the more people that are watching you, the more likely you are to screw up your landing. (Odds increase if there are whuffos watching, and increase more if the landing is being video taped.) Screwed up landing is almost guarenteed if any of the people watching you are whuffos that have been too scared to come out and watch you jump and that you have FINALLY convinced to come watch you...

* Beautiful weather during the week means cloudy and windy on the weekends.

* People who say they'd like to try skydiving "someday"...rarely do.

The wetter it is, the more likely you will land out-- in a plowed field or cow pasture.

Ditto for a new jumpsuit-- or better yet, a white one.

The shorter the call, the more likely you'll bust every rubberband on your d-bag. (or break a closing loop)

The sloppier the pack job, the nicer it opens.

My girlfriend actually thinks That the size of the canopy should be inversely proportional to the size of the engagement ring. The smaller the canopy the bigger the diamond.
