ACMESkydiver 0 #1 March 5, 2004 Kids come up with the cutest stuff...and their perception is so different from our own. Their thoughts can be insightful, beautiful, and hilarious! I love this pic my daughter drew of my hubby and I jumping. The story she wrote to go along with it was cute too...since then she's written a second that's longer, but I don't have it with me. Caress has a cute pic of her boy 'arching'...so post yours! What do your babies write, draw, or say about your skydiving? Oh yeah...'The Sprout' (as Jaleesa has been nick-named) wants a pink and purple Barbie canopy when she starts jumping...and I'm gonna get it for her, too!!! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. TheBile 0 #3 March 5, 2004 That drawing is better than some "art" that goes for several thousand dollars. That text sounds like a form of poetry too.Gerb I stir feelings in others they themselves don't understand. KA'CHOW !

skydiverkaz 0 #5 March 6, 2004 Dont have my own babies but the girls i nanny for think it's great, all though they have no concept of it. The youngest said the other day, when i was whinging about cloud to her mum, "well you might get rained on if you go in the clouds" - girl gotta point! She did a wonderful sticking and painting using the mag, cutting out all pics of people in freefall, drew a plane, the grass - very cute! And they like to play "skydiving" on my feet - you know, like superman rides when you little. But Acme, that pic is very cute! Made me smile xxxIf you're gona skate on thin ice, you might as well dance

caress 0 #7 March 6, 2004 Okay Acme. Jeremiah says I want to jump out of the plane, and he leaps off of everything he can. Inside/outside it don't matter. He talks on the phone with his grandmas- He politly tells them that he is going to skydive when he gets a little bigger, and asks them to come watch I love my kids. The 12 year old (Terry) tells everyone I'm going skydiving in 6 years with my Uncle Mike and my Uncle Pat. Its already a done deal. I am trying to get my parents to pay for some tunnel time. Yup! we have spawned enthusiastic children. We are pretty happy with that. I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right.

VectorBoy 0 #11 March 7, 2004 They are Jaded, They spend some goodly amount of time at the DZ on non-jumping pool days, having Ice cream and watching the swoopers. One wants tunnel time and will get it for her birthday. Last summer I took them to an airshow at a small municipal airport, nothing fancy. One of the highlights for this small sleepy airshow was a couple of jumpers. Of course the crowd is too self absorbed to listen to the announcer. Some look up to see something, someone falling from a lightplane. half of the crowd gasps in fear, sighs of relief as two big chutes deploy. The two jumpers enter a proper downwind pattern and slowly glide over the crowd at like 50'. Two gentlemen standing next to us are incredibly amazed at the accuracy, the precision. The jumpers land slowly, safely under their big mains on the big open taxiway. THE CROWD GOES WILD! My girls look at me and ask "whats the big deal"? " Why are they cheering"? " Can we have ice cream now"?
