small poem

Recommended Posts

Sometimes we speak
before we think
Sometimes we dance
before we drink,
Who's to say why, when,
where?
But we all need to say,
"I really care!"

The jump season in the northern parts of hemisphere is about to commence. Lets all be careful. Lets strive to have loads and loads of fun this year with NO FATALITIES!!!!

My girlfriend wrote this poem and I threatened to put it on here, she didnt think I would........heheheh....... But I think it applies,
>Sometimes we speak
before we think<
sometimes sitting before our computers we write something that may be offensive, or harsh to others, something that we would hesitate to say in person.

>Sometimes we dance
before we drink<
In my mind this denotes skydiving........We dance in the sky, then strenghthen our bonds by sitting around with our friends (drinking of course:P)

>Who's to say why, when,
where?<
We never know how much time we have on this earth...... Make the best of it.

>But we all need to say,
"I really care!"<
It goes without saying, Let your friends know how much they mean to you...

They say I suffer from insanity.... But I actually enjoy it.

That's awesome, and a good message to spread. You're right, sometimes we bicker and pick at each other and even attack each other, but what it all comes down to is the fact that if something ever happened to one of us, the rest would be there for love and support in a heartbeat. I too will raise my glass to a safe season for everyone here and for those who actually have work to do during the day. :)

Sometimes people find it easy to criticize others, without looking at the reflection in the mirror first.

The hours spent
With Good intent
But words not all to wise.
Are oft without diplomacy
In others peoples eyes.
My fellow man i've criticized,
But now its plain to see,
The faults I thought I saw in him,
I now can see in me.
