Leadership is tough and if you do it wrong many bad things can happen. The least of which would be your guys beating your ass. In the field......the only witnesses you have are YOUR guys.....so charges? Not likely.
nightjumps 1 #35 March 12, 2004 45th Company May 1980 Honor Graduate. Went thru with a bunch of Seals. When they barked, the Blackhats would get pissed and make us do more pushups. While in the front leaning rest, one of the Blackhats said, "I'm going to break you Seals of barking in my formation!" While my arms are burning, I'm thinking, "I really want to go into battle with you, genius."

It kind of scares me a bit, but yeah leadership can be hard, and i can only imagine how much harder it is going to be. That is why i train hard now, and try to learn as much as i can now. Hopefulky one day i can use what i learn now to keep my troops alive. blue skys-------------------------------------------------- Fear is not a confession of weakness, it is an oportunity for courage. nightjumps 1 #38 March 12, 2004 The only thng you need to learn is this: Surround yourself with really good NCO's, give them the objective; turn them loose; and stay the hell outta their way.
