ChasingBlueSky 0 #1 March 14, 2004 I've decided to organize the hundreds of pictures on my laptop...I just can't find what I am looking for anymore. I know there are a few nice programs out there for creating albums and tags, but are there any good free ones? I'm working on a very limited budget these days and can't afford to purchase any new software. If not, I guess I can do it all by hand over the next week or two._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... ChasingBlueSky 0 #3 March 14, 2004 If I am not mistaken, that is pretty much a mirror of www.downloads.com... There are over 81 pages of media management tools on there - most are shareware that requre purchase after a trial period (yea, I could install something for the trial period to clean up my system) Just wondering if anyone out there could recommend something off hand so I don't spend the entire day researching software._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... AggieDave 6 #9 March 14, 2004 For just viewing software, its hard to beat ACDSee, as for creating "albums" do you mean create HTML gallery type things or just organize photos into seperate folders?--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." I will check out ACDSee. I wanted to see what options there were...HTML style may be nice, I just want the end result to be organization....I had no idea how many pictures I had collected on my laptop (I'm scared to look at how many I have on my PC). One of these days I will get around to organizing my music as well. I just want my computer to be as organized and archived as I once had it....I've just slacked off for the last year or so._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me....
