In a world so filled with terror, this report might not shock you, but to me, its another line that has been crossed.
the sad fact is that i was unable to find this report in any major news site. i've finally found it hidden within another story on the BBC website.
just read it and think...
i can say for myself that naturally i'm happy it was prevented and lives were saved, but i'm also very happy for this poor child who was used in such a way.

Sources said the boy - a porter known to the Israelis - had no idea what he was carrying, and that he was released after questioning.

There was the case of a guy putting his pregnant girlfriend on an airplane with a bomb in her suitcase. She had no idea. Luckily security found it.


Many instances in Vietnam too.

It is a terrible tragedy. Not new, but terrible. Children, spouses & unknowing strangers have been used for ages.

There are many many children being used to carry drugs accros national lines every day; typically they are in danger of over-dosing - sad for them, but better for the poeple around them rather than a bomb.

I'm suprised/horrified it didn't get more coverage. But that would have led me to think that it was not that unusual.

Falxori - you are often in my thoughts, as my other acquaintances living daily under the constant thread of death. Blessings to you.

very close to a time when terrorist offered a bag of food to a homeless child and his brother (both under 7 years old), in exchange for taking a bag to a man inside a restaurant. The bag had a bomb which they set off when he went through the doors

If you feel that there is a right side to using children this way, you are a very pathetic individual.
