WrongWay 0 #26 March 16, 2004 QuoteQuoteWhat I'm trying to say is this. Don't quit the sport, there's too much to gain from it, and too much to miss when you're gone from it. And you know this cause? I have one of my best friends rigs in my closet. He wants me to sell it. He has 3500 jumps, and the Advanced Gold medal in 4way....He was on several large jumps 100+ He told me last weekend that he does not miss it one bit. People quit for several different reasons... Dealing with the BS and politics is one of the biggest. Hey dude, just my opinion, I could be wrong. For me, the people giving me shit were the ones who turned out to be the best friends I've ever had (because theyre awesome people, not just skydivers), so I'm just conveying what worked for me. Maybe it's different for him, but personally, if I had quit the sport, I'd have regretted it more than anything in my life. Who cares about my reasons, I'll give my opinion when it's asked for, and thats what it was. Besides, if quitting the sport was his top intention, why would he post here for advice on whether to or not? Some food for thought. Edited so my reply wouldnt be at top of post. Beerlight 0 #27 March 16, 2004 Don't let others rule or affect your life. Take control and tell whoever is screwin with you that you'd like to chat with them about the matter. You know how to counsel right? Take the offender off alone, never counsel in public, right. Always fucking funny how assholes will calm down when you get them alone.... All this A personality crap is bullshit. You like the sport, stay in it. If you don't like it, buy the Harley.......good luck...
