Casch 0 #1 March 16, 2004 So I had an incredible weekend. I drove up and met my sister that my mom had put up for adoption, and her family for the first time. We hit it off, we acted like we had known eachother our whole lives. It was the best weekend of my life. My mom found my sisters father for her, and got his information so that when my sister was ready all she had to do was ask my mom for the number and she could contact her dad herself. Well...my step-father accidently gave out my sisters name and the town that she lives in to her birth father. So now, he can try and look her up if wants to. I called my sister last night and told her this because I didn't want it to be a total surprise if her father contacted her. Well, she and her family are totally freaking, for good reason though. They are pissed off at my mom and step-father. I don't know yet if they are angry at me by association, but I hope not. I don't want to lose my sister again. I've only known her for 2 weeks, and only spent 24 hours with her in person. But I love her so much. I sent her an e-mail this morning to better explain what happened, in hopes of patching things up. But I am pretty sure her phone is disconnected. I can only hope that she and her family don't go into hiding from us. I need all the vibes I can get. Casch 0 #6 March 17, 2004 She's not mad at me or even my step-father. She's just upset with my mom for contacting her birthfather. Which I understand now, because she never knew that my mom called him up in the first place. And she never even mentioned wanting to contact him. Now I am even a little ticked off at my mom for that.
