billvon 3,118 #2 August 9, 2010 Crossfire 1 and 2 are pretty similar. Line trim is different, especially on the brake lines; I believe the Crossfire 1 had equal-length uppers.

sundevil777 102 #5 August 10, 2010 Part of the benefit of crossbraced canopies is that fewer lines can be used, the crossbracing makes up for it.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
SethInMI 174 #6 August 10, 2010 The crossfires are not cross braced. They have a highly closed nose that does help give them some stiffness, but no crossbracing. They are elliptical, and that is why they need fewer D lines, as the tail tapers in. Rapaz, you have a Crossfire II, with 6 D lines, 3 on each side. It's flare not flair, brakes not breaks, bridle not bridal, "could NOT care less" not "could care less". masterrigger1 2 #7 August 10, 2010 Quote Crossfire 1 and 2 are pretty similar. Crossfire I has 40 lines. (10 A) - (10 B) - (10 C) - (10 D) Crossfire II has 36 lines - Only 6 D lines Quote Line trim is different, especially on the brake lines; I believe the Crossfire 1 had equal-length uppers. The line trim is different, but only slightly. The brake set is similar... The uppers on both canopies are unequal lengths. The safire I has equal length UST's, not the Crossfire I.
