Political types--what party do my viewpoints align with?:

I want my guns.
I want minimal taxes.
I want strong defence.
I do not want prayer in school.
I don't care either way about gay marriages.
I dont want my taxes subsidizing crack whores and their demon spawn.

well anti gun control is republican view same with minimul taxes, and welfare. Some republicans want prayer in school some dont... i for one do not, and i am a christain as well. And republicans have a tendancy to be strong against gay marrige. So i would say your a concervitave leaning left. which is more independant than anything.

In terms of find political representatives and/or candidates for a particular party, I believe you'll find many of your aforementioned points in the platforms of many Libertarians and maybe a few moderate Republicans.

Start a PAC, gain lots of members, and influnce all parties. It works if you get the #s.

Sounds fiscally and socially conservative - neither party works. You are a centrist - likely moderate Republican/moderate Dem - like most of us.

I think a centrist candidate would devastate both parties this time around. Too bad only the wacko extremists (the Buchanans and the - the lefty's name escapes me...) are obsessed enough to run.
