You can ignore it, you can put up with it, you can read it and get pissed off, you can just log off and get a real life, or you can start a whole new thread that interests you.

I'm all in favour of the freedom to post pretty much anything in Talkback, but I do get a bit pissed about the Subject titles that people use.

Subject titles such as "FUCK!" or "OMG!" or "Can you believe this..." are a pet peeve coz I then have to actualy open the thread to discover that it's just another 'bubblegum' thread instead of being able to dismiss it at a glance just from reading the subject title.

Agreed. I did a poll on this subject last month, and 31% of the people said they don't even bother to open such threads. Another 21% said they open them, but are often annoyed when they to find out it's something they're not interested in.
