jumpinjackflash 0 #51 March 20, 2004 Nah, I agree, I understand what your saying. What I'm saying is the felony would of never occurred if we'd of handled the issue before this. We still allow way too many elderly people to continue driving long past the point that it is safe for them or anyone else. That's my point. Fuck, I'm not stupid, I know it was a felony offense. I'm tellin ya Chili, it must be me today because I've had a few conversations that I chimed in on, thought I said something, only to find that what I said was interpreted completely fucking different... anyhoo, I agree, a felony is a felony, but the damn thing could've never happened if the person was taken off the road years previous to not being capable of driving...It's a gas, gas, gas... pajarito 0 #52 March 20, 2004 You're absolutely correct in that he has to pay the price. I was referring to the way he was handled initially. Nothing is going to bring back the guy that got killed. I just feel sorry for the old man. He's got to live with that mistake for the rest of his life. It's not like he was drinking or anything. He's just old. No, I would not feel the same way about an 18 year old punk. Different circumstance.
