Do Chicks dig the term "Chick"?

Recommended Posts

I'm just curious. I never really called girls "chicks" until I started skydiving. I used to think it was a very disrespectful term. But now I say it all the time. Just wondering if I'm offending anyone :P If I am, that's just too bad because I'm gonna continue using the term in an innocent manner. :P

"yo, man, check out the melons on that chick!" is probably not cool.

Ok wow yeah that is a bit disrespectful. I use it like, "Yeah that's the chick from Canada I was talkin about". Or "hey she's a cool chick".

Now...I might use "Check out THAT chick!" or some variation when I'm with friends, and not loud enough for others to hear. I also try to refrain from saying "chick" to a chick. Just feels strange

Well, when I'm being called a kick ass cool chick, it's a compliment.

When my co-worker (a man) & I were having an argue... I mean a discussion over e-mail; he meant to forward my reply to him to our boss (another man) & said "can you believe this chick?! Who does she think she is".... well, he accidentally sent it to me.>:(

Needless to say there were a few group discussions.>:(

There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. Only you can fix your fear.

PMS #227 (just like the TV show)

This was immediately going to a dangerous conclusion, context.
"Well, it depends...if he is tall and good looking...
but not if he has beard...
if he was being funny...but not too funny...
if he was using it with another word..."

Here is where you went astray. "I wonder what dose broads are thinkin'..." Bad, never wonder. There's never been a good outcome from this.

I think that it depends on the context in which you use it, and the person's age. You seem very young, so that term wouldn't bother most young people at all! It is not offensive. :)
Btw, I don't know about Jdog being funny, but I find people who are witty, clever and self-deprecating to be the most humorous, like both Happythoughts and Clay. Those two are hysterical! :)
