Goggle wipe inside helmet?

Hi everyone, newbie here. This past weekend while in the plane I saw someone with a small retractable inside their helmet, on the end of it was a cloth to clean goggles, he said it just retracts and stays in there when he's done. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I did a search but couldn't find anything.

I've carried a lens cloth in my helmet since I graduated AFF. It's a great thing to have.

My camera jacket has a lens wipe sewn in. Otherwise I use my fingers to wipe goggles in the plane. Other cleaning I do on the ground.

Having a lens cloth available is fairly common. Having it attached to something retractable so it doesn't get lost is clever and unique. It sounds like you're describing one of those retractable key holders that you can attach to your belt, extend to unlock a door, then retract again for secure storage. It could be that he modified one of those and adapted it to suit his new purpose for it.
