tsalnukt 1 #1 July 26, 2010 I can't seem to find the recommended closing loop length in the manual. Does anyone know what it is? it's a w-25 with a 218 in it. thanks
NovaTTT 2 #2 July 26, 2010 My manual recommends starting with 3 ¼ " and adjusting as necessary. Not specifically helpful, but it seems Sunrise doesn't want to get into specifics. Unstable 9 #3 July 26, 2010 ....and adjust as necessary In my experience and rigging at a Wings-overrun dropzone, the closing loop length is very particular to the type of reserve canopy and the rigger's packing style. For example, on our club rigs, I went from 100mm to about 93mm when we went from SharpChuter 245 reserves to Smarts.=========Shaun ==========

theonlyski 8 #5 July 27, 2010 I thought that that issue was only for completely internal PC systems, and that the wings/racer types wouldn't experience it?"I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message
skydiverek 63 #6 July 27, 2010 QuoteI thought that that issue was only for completely internal PC systems, and that the wings/racer types wouldn't experience it? Well, I do not know... Wings' and Javelin's reserve closing loop is mounted on the backpad, so it is the longest to start with! apogee77 0 #7 July 30, 2010 Wings tend to be a little inconsistent on container sizing. I've just had to learn what each one takes. Will
