Interesting to look how age demographics will soon be affecting the employment scene too. One wonders what the combined effect of the two will be over the next couple of years. lawrocket 3 #3 March 26, 2004 Well, how can we stop it? why are companies doing it? What government policies can assist with it? Would ripping pages out of the federal register help? Changes in workers' compensation laws, insurance laws, and workplace laws? Probably. At least I know my racket is safe for the time being... My wife is hotter than your wife. rehmwa 2 #5 March 26, 2004 We are all supposed to be so generous to other countries. At least this way we get productivity in return for our investment and those countries get much need wealth. The alternative is to outlaw outsourcing, and then tax the hell out of our workers and companies, and then send the money to those countries as aid. It's pretty clearly a choice between a win-win or a lose-lose scenario. What's so difficult about this? ...
