ACMESkydiver 0 #1 March 28, 2004 My 7 year old daughter just sprained hers yesterday jumping on our trampoline.... What is it?? Are February and March national 'Screw up Your Ankle' months or something?? Poor lil' dumplin' is on the couch with an ice pack... No zoo for us today. I'm going down to give her some tickles. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

RoysPlayThing 0 #4 March 28, 2004 This shall be a new rule! .. There shall be no more of spraining ankles, no more of breaking limbs, no more of any injuries whatsoever for any skydivers or the future skydivers of America... or ummm, any other country for that matter. Thank you. _______________________________________________ My mind is like a parachute...it functions only when open.

skymama 37 #6 March 28, 2004 My son pulled the ligaments in his right ankle (the same one I did) today in a soccer game. He was real thoughtful though, he got hurt right in front of me so I didn't have to go far. He got slide tackled...those darn kids who break the rules! He can still limp around on it, but we're a pretty gimpy household these days. Oh, and when we got home, my daughter showed me where she burned her arm on the oven. I hope your daughter heals quickly. Do the ol' R.I.C.E. formula. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

Ah well...I have to write her a notes for PE today in school! Hope you're son is doing better. I had to carry Jaleesa everywhere yesterday...luckily, she is the smallest 7 year old in her class...the lil' bit only weighs about 40 pounds! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
