SkyAnt 0 #1 January 14, 2004 Do you like them? Have you got one? Thoughts/Feelings/Opinions? I just got one. I will post a pic in a couple of weeks if anybody really wants to see it. Mine is a decent size one on my right arm/shoulder area. I think they look good. But I dont really like the look of them at all on women. Unless they have a very athletic physique. P.S. For those in know. I was told by the Tattoo guy to use a certain type of antiseptic cream which I have been using. I have since been told not to use this type of cream as it draws out the ink too much. Anyone? "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Paige 0 #3 January 14, 2004 I've got 13 tattoos and guys always tell me they don't like tattoos but they like em on me Love tattoos, most of my boys do it for a living so I usually get them free. That would explain the high number. It's also the reason for my 11 piercings.Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com

Deuce 1 #5 January 14, 2004 I waited a a very long time to get mine, couldn't find the right artist. I have a big one now, and I like it. My wife does too, and I haven't gotten any negative comments. Just don't buy flash off the wall while drunk. Be prepared to answer "why" you got the tattoo. I was recently very happy when Loudiamond knew what my tattoo was about without having to explain. Be sure. Do it. Wait.
lawrocket 3 #6 January 14, 2004 I'll admit that I'm too chicken to get a tattoo. I think a tattoo on me would look the same as Harrison Ford's earring - a "Dude, what were you thinking" thing. My wife is hotter than your wife.
AggieDave 6 #7 January 14, 2004 I love tats! God they're sexy on chicks and they're incredibly addictive to get. I have 2 and I want more, many more...I just have to figure out what I want and where (well, there's a couple I want, but am not going to get until I know exactly for sure where I'm working after college, etc since they'd be visable)...--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." AggieDave 6 #9 January 14, 2004 Exactly, that's why I have to take my shirt off to see the 2 I have now. Although I'd like a nice sleeve done on my forearm, its not going to happen...atleast not for a long time.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." harro 0 #11 January 14, 2004 I have 3 now. Looking to get one of them finished soon. I was looking for a long time to get some kind of arm band incorporated with the "Eye Of Ra" symbol on my arm. I found it when I got my DZ.com long sleeve T-shirt the other week. The pattern donw the arms of the shirt is going to be the arm bad for my Ra tatt. I love Tatts. I like them on girls. My dog even has one on her ear.Jumpy Jumpy??
yardhippie 0 #12 January 14, 2004 I have three... a small one on my back. Original... you wont see it anywhere else cuz my friend drew it up when we were in high school and I have the original. 2. a band on my rt arm... I was drunk... and it was "off the wall" but I knew when I saw it, I wanted it... and never regretted it. Plus it reminds me of the last time me and "all" of my friends took a trip and did somthing wild and crazy. 3. a custom job (derived from an off the wall) had it done in Australia on my first trip... best work I have seen. the lady was awsome.... and now im working on more custom work to go around it.... the begginings of a large work. all in all I have almost 10 yrs from first to now... but I have to be ready for a tat... and I have to want it from the first time I see it... and thats rare. my .02! lemonjelly 0 #13 January 14, 2004 I got a few, and 1 peircing (Albert) Think you really need to consider the design that you have as it's gonna be there for EVER! I had to have a couple re designed as cover overs. So choose wisely!! fudd 0 #14 January 14, 2004 Havnen't got one. I'd like one but can't decide on a motive. Finding something that will make me just as happy in 10 years or 20 years as now is hard. Maybe I'll just tattoo the dropzone.com logo on my upper arm There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't. skycutie 0 #17 January 14, 2004 I LOVE tatoo's. I like guys with tatoos, a lot! I got two, but I'm getting a third one pretty soon. gmanpilot 0 #19 January 14, 2004 I think I'm too fickle to get a tat. What happens if you change your mind later? You can always take a piercing out. Not that I have a piercing either, but if I were into body decor, I guess I would go for a piercing. On women: A belly button piercing on a flat belly is wicked sexy. I have been out with a chick that had a few small Japanese characters tatted on the back of her neck(love, hope, courage, I think). It is actually kinda sexy too._________________________________________ -There's always free cheese in a mouse trap.

That would explain the high number. It's also the reason for my 11 piercings. I'd be a mess if I knew someone who could do tats and piercings whenever I wanted one! Oh, and neosporin(sp?) isn't great for tats I've always been told (or piercings). Sounds weird, but the diaper rash cream stuff is what I've always been told works the best for the first few days. Merrick has lotioned his tats religiously that he got over 10 years ago and they still look fantastic, hardly any fading or anything. He was told once that it would keep it nice, and it seems to have! Now I get to lotion his back for the rest of his life since he has the back-piece now I guess! caress 0 #22 January 14, 2004 I have 2 on my back. One is there as a rememberal of a dead friend. He died protecting a woman from her husband beating her. He stopped him and paid for it with his life. It is a cobra wrapped on a tribal with his name dob, and dod on it. The second one is a naked woman offering a star to the sky. It reminds me that I need to give of myself, unconditionally. However I found in the bible that in Leviticus, it says you are not suppose to get tatoos.-Caress I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right.
StevePhelps 0 #23 January 14, 2004 I like them if they are well thought out and done well (artistically). By that I mean spend some time thinking about what you want -- as it is there for life. Mine is my Special Forces patch. Cheap art makes any tattoo look crappy. Just my $0.02 worth!
Pammi 0 #24 January 14, 2004 Definately, think about it. I'll admit, I have two of my three that I'm not thrilled with. Too flashy. One of those still has meaning though, so I'll prob'ly just try to get it touched up. The other is just cheesy, but oh well. I've never been ashamed of them nor had a problem with them at work, but they are not just out there in your face either; usually are covered. garyharbird 0 #25 January 14, 2004 Hey I have 1 Tattoo on my back. Doen't mean anything just a tribal that I liked. I used Bacitracin ointment and it healed really quickly.
