I get off work on Wed night(very late, as usual) and am planning on loading up the RV and heading over to ZHills on Thurs...maybe Fri morning....but now I see a bunch of people are gonna be up at CSS...and debating...90 minute drive...or 10 hour drive...? So who's gonna be at ZHills? Mike

Aviatrr 0 #7 March 30, 2004 Actually, I meant Easter weekend. I go to work tomorrow, and don't get back home until next Wed night.....so the 8th-11th is when I'm thinking of being there....though, so far, not quite the showing I expected.. flyangel2 2 #8 March 30, 2004 I won't be there for the boogie, but I will be there for the two point 140 ways starting on 14th. Do you think you'll be out for any of that?May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey
Aviatrr 0 #9 March 30, 2004 Unfortunately, no. I have to go back to work on the 15th, so I'll be out of town for the entire time for the 140 ways...this damn work thing interferes too much with my fun.. Mike

Speaking of which, my captains assignment puts me in furthest left back trail, in the Caravan. Still want to come in my plane ? Nice early take off, nice 40 minute ride to altitude etc. I can always put you in Derros' plane you know.

happythoughts 0 #13 March 30, 2004 Last years practice jumps were cool too. I still have pics of the 65-way and the 3-pt 62-way that we did. There was also a nice 20-way. Either a zipper or an open accordian. Can't remember which now, but it was challenging and fun.

At the 1999 JFTC event, I had a video guy, Raoul, right on me for a few jumps. They wanted to get video for the T.V. show Good Morning America. I told Raoul I didn't think it was fair, this way Kate and my plane captain could see if I messed up. The next jump on exit, I kicked him right in the nuts Poor guy, he backed off.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. Stacy 0 #17 April 5, 2004 Quote Ummm...the scrambles are Sunday! I know... but G closed on his house Tuesday. THere were a lot of immediate things to be done there.... I'm escaping for a day next weekend to come out (Saturday- early). Hopefully one of my job interviews went well enough to get me a job so I'll be closer to the Hills!! __
