ACMESkydiver 0 #1 April 7, 2004 I don't freaking believe this...it's been WEEKS since I could jump, and I took tomorrow OFF so I could get enough peeps together for a load all day (most people around here can take Wednesdays off...weird ) -And I'm SICK!! DAMMIT!!! The fever was gone 3 days ago, I just still am having these sneezing fits (why I'm posting at this LUDICROUS hour ) and my throat is a sore.... So should I just take some day-quil and hope my sinuses don't freaking kill me?? If there's only 3 other people at the DZ, I'd be screwing them outta full loads to jump... Besides I MUST MUST jump!!! So??? ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
TheBile 0 #2 April 7, 2004 Don't do it. The consequences of jumping the way you are could exasporate your illness and lengthen you (get ready for a made up word) groundation. Please be patient. Let that fever SOB exit you before you exit the plane. Gerb I stir feelings in others they themselves don't understand. KA'CHOW !

zulu 0 #5 April 7, 2004 I can tell you from experience. I jumped out there in Lewis, with a small sinus. So I thought I can hang (RGR mentality..ask J he knows what Im talking about) once we were at 15000 feet I was so messed up they had to land and evac me. Not a good Idea ACME stay grounded and heal. The jump will be much sweeter when all you have to focus on is having fun and not feeling like s#@t. zulu
Orchid 0 #6 April 7, 2004 Sooooo....stay home and rest. What's more important to you....your health or your craving for jumps? Personally, skydiving will always be there....if you don't take care of yourself...you won't be."Love is doing small things with great love." usedtajump 1 #7 April 7, 2004 Don't do it!!!!!! I made some jumps with a sinus infection and got so blocked that the doc was considering drilling through the roof of my mouth to releive the pressure. This is, no shit, nothing to mess around with. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.
turtlespeed 226 #8 April 7, 2004 like this: A) If nose and sinus is bad - no jumpie B) If Medicine helps keep the sinus at bay - Jumpie C) If unsure, drink a hell of a lot and call everyone you know.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
