Acro lessons are great...I am getting ready to start getting some time in an Extra here soon.

Where is there an Extra in the area? I'd love to get checked out in one...but I haven't found any around. I do know of one Pitts that I can rent, but it's down for a couple months for a big inspection..:S

There is a guy I think out of Sanford. He was down in Lake Wales giving rides...He told me he also gives instruction in it...I'll look for his number.

The practical will be tough. Everything will come at him bang-bang-bang. Maneuvers will be quick and cockpit tasks will be thrown at him in quick succession. He needs to be ready.

Chime in pilots- was your practical tough as hell? What happened to you?

My practical was not tuff, it was straight forward. The guy will figure out during the oral if you know what you are talking about. Then won't have you demonstrate it too long once you prove you can DO what you've already established you KNOW. Mine never messed with anything in the cockpit but it is common that they do. Mine did ask me a bunch of compound questions back to back trying to confuse me.
