Sorry if that came out harsh. I wasn't really intending it to. And to be honest, I have a ton of respect for you for publicly coming clean.

I wasn't trying to respond to just you, but more the general question that was asked. Sure, it depends on the situation... and I don't really judge anyone in real life based on these goofy forums. I'm sure you are a kickass nice guy.

With that said, there are a LOT of people who "fluff" up their info on these boards. It's aggrovating to me... I'm being honest with people, why can't people be honest back? But that's life.

I also agree that something has happened around here in the past few months that has made this place weird. I miss the old talk back. Hopefully we can stumble home drunk one night and find that old attitude back.

I hear yah. I know someone with almost 10,000 skydives that has no info posted and 30 jump newbies give him sh*t. But it's still better to post nothing than to post a lie. Just my opinion.

Honestly on the forums I rarely if ever pay attention to folks numbers. It is not important to me. The fact that someone is a jumper or not is not important to me. The fact that they wanna hang out with jumpers and talk with jumpers is important to me. In fact, they/them wanting to have that many jumps is cool with me even if the don't have them. Probably some lame reason like $ why they don't have that many. So I choose to ignore the numbers entirely. Sure come and hang out. it's not neccesary to lie but if you have to you have to. It's not a competion... It's a way of life.

1. You should be proud of the fact that you have experienced 58 times what 99.something % of the worlds population can only dream of and be proud even if you never jump again.

may be off the subject a bit, but i am not ashamed about being a student at all. IT means i can ask stupid questions that once i get a liscence i should know. It also measn that people ( at least at my DZ) are willing to jump with me to give me a shot. I have jumped with so many people that have been jumping for years. Not coach jumps, just fun jumps with people giving me a shot. but the big thing is people are willing to help. And i imigine this concept stay around, but people are really willing to help me out with better ways to do things. and things like that.

So be proud of your jump number people!! its is who you are, its not an insult, and your not stupid caseu you are low on jumps! every one even the skylords had opnly 18 jumps at one time. so anyways....

Last Sunday, why? I've done all but the first 5 in3 1/5

Steve, I couldn't agree with you more. Its so sad that people focus on others so much that they feel its their duty to "change" them. Why can't they just shut the fuck up and let them be stupid if they so decide.

What's really annyoing to me is that after all the crap that closed Talk Back, some assholes already start some new shit that HH worked very hard on over the last 2 weeks to create a "better" atmosphere for us here.
