Emotional Masters

Recommended Posts

For those of you who keep up with golf, (I know, just a handful) it was an emotional first round in Augusta at the Masters for Tom Watson. The Bruce Edwards story is here:

Sure brought a tear to my eye when I heard the news, even more so when I watched them walk to the 18th hole last year at the U.S. Open. Also, its Arnold Palmer's 50th and last time to walk the greens at the Masters... what an amazing career.

Anyone else following?

I am following! Lots going on today, Bruce was one of the first Full Time caddies and was considered to be the standard of what a caddie is today. ALS is a very bad disease and I can only hope this will help fund more research...

As for Arnold, #50 is awesome, no where close to competitive but still a peice of golfing history.... What might be even more amazing is the performance the Jack put in, might even make the weekend! That would be awesome to see!!

I was jumping up and down watching Phil sink that birdie on the 18th to win it. WOW, what an AWESOME final round!!! I was totally stoked for him to finally finally win a major, I was pullin for my fellow lefty.

Yay, made my day.
